Once a week we need to exfoliate our skin. The homemade face scrub can be just for you, of you prefer the natural solution.
If you want to prepare your own face scrub recipe, pay attention to these details:
1. Put on the scrub right after the shower, when your pores are wide and when you can clean them more effectively.
2. Apply a moisturizer with vitamins - right after removing the scrub. This is the time when the skin cells absorb the ingredients.
3. Test the scrub beforehand. If you have an extremely oily skin use it twice - three times a week, not more.
4. Avoid using scrubs if your skin is sensitive. In that case gentle cleansers will be the best option for you.
Mix one spoon of sea salts, one tablespoon of flour, and half a spoon of drops of grape seed oil.
Rub gently for couple of minutes, then erase completely. Put on a face cream to balance the skin.
You can skip the grape seed oil and just use the salt and flour, just remember to add some water so the mask will take effect.
The grape seed has many antioxidants like polyphenolic acids, so you should consider include it anyways.
The salts will clear the pores and remove the dead skin cells. You can replace them with dead sea salts, with more beneficial minerals in them.
This scrub recipe is excellent for combined skin.
Stir 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with some oatmeal and 1 drop of apricot oil (or of other essential oil for your type of skin).
Put on for about 5 minutes, then wash off gently with a cool water.
This mask will soften your skin. The essential citrus oils usually have vitamin C, which benefits the skin turnover.
